The Records Division of the West Haven Police Department is primarily responsible for the storing and
maintenance of all police reports, arrest records, and the compilation of statistical data as reported to state and federal agencies.

The Records Division is also responsible for issuing initial permits, such as pistol, vendor, raffle, amusement, and bazaar permits.

The day to day operations are supervised by Sgt. Robert Urrata.  The Records Division is currently staffed by six full-time civilian employees.

Requests for records and reports can be made in person during business hours: 

HOURS:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday - 8:00 am - 3:45 pm
Wednesday - 12 pm - 3:45 pm

The Records Division is closed on Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays.
